Freedom Bible College - Cincinnati/Fairborn being branches of Freedom Bible College and Seminary are members of the International Association of Distance Learning (IDAL). The International Association of Distance Learning was established to promote quality in distance education and training, and to provide approval and recognition of open, online, and distance programs and courses-providers worldwide. IADL members include schools, e-learning web sites, private training companies, corporate training departments, NGOs, colleges, universities, and other organizations on four continents. The U.S. Department of Education recognizes IADL.
Since we believe in the separation of Church and State (in that the State should not be involved with the matters of the Church), we have not applied for accreditation to the U.S. Department of Education or any state or federal agency.
Freedom Bible College and Seminary has applied for, and received, religious exemption status from the State of Arkansas. We hold that our accrediting body is far above any D.O.E. accrediting agency because we are allowed to teach the Word of God, and only the Word of God, without outside dictation concerning curriculum or our tuition rates.
The Arkansas Department of Higher Education has determined that Freedom Bible College and Seminary does not offer courses or degrees customarily offered at colleges and universities and that certifications is not required by the Arkansas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
Note: Some states, such as the State of Ohio, do not allow the granting of degrees by non-regionally accredited Bible colleges such as FBCC and FBCF. However, our diplomas are recognized by the International Office of Freedom Bible College and Seminary. Once a student of FBCC or FBCF has completed his or her course of studies, a copy of their diploma is sent to the International office and a fully accredited degree is issued to each student who has met the requirements of studies offered by FBCC and FBCF.
Freedom Bible College Cincinnati and Freedom Bible College Fairborn have an articulation agreement with Freedom Bible College and Seminary of Rogers, Arkansas for the acceptance of course credits toward the issuance of degrees issued by FBCS-Rogers.
